It could possibly change though by the end of the week. Jankovic could displace her compatriot Ivanovic as world no. 1 if she wins the East West Bank Classic. She defeated Vania King of USA in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 to move into the third round. The Serb is schedule to play Melinda Czink of Hungary on Thursday.

Jankovic sails through to the 3rd round
